Frequently Asked Questions about the MOCA House Program

Are you a coffee house? No, we’re not, but we serve coffee! MOCA is an acronym for “Motivating, Optimistic, Caring, Accepting”.

Must I make a reservation before attending? Not at all. Feel free to drop in at any time. Our hours are 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

May I bring young children or adolescents along? No; the MOCA House program is only for adults, 18 and over.

I called the phone number for the van, and no one answered. How do I know if he received my message? Our van driver will return your phone call.

Is there a dress code at MOCA Program? Yes, we require shoes or sandals at all times.

Since you’re open over the lunch hour, is food available for purchase? No. Participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch. We usually offer assorted snacks at no cost.

I’m a young adult (or senior citizen), will I fit in? All ages attend our programs.

Is there any transportation service available? Yes! We offer van transportation to residents of Wayne and Holmes Counties. Our driver will pick you up at your home and deliver you to the MOCA Program. Please call 330-264-1590 for more information and to make reservations.

Is the MOCA House Program religion-based? No, the MOCA House program is available to all. We do offer a spirituality and prayer group that meets once a week.
